Wear Appropriate Clothing for Airport Security Checkpoints
The TSA does not specify which clothes you need to wear when going through airport security checkpoints, but it’s recommended that men wear long pants, shirts, slacks, dresses, or skirts, and women wear dresses or slacks. Women who have had children within the past year should use the “underwear as your armour” rule, and those who have been recently pregnant should only wear tops that cover them up. Bring Your Own Travel Documents When Possible
This might sound like an obvious thing to say, but sometimes people forget this step even after checking off all the items on their ticket or boarding pass. If you’ve already paid for your plane tickets, why would you risk missing your flight? In addition, you can always board a flight while in transit, so even if your original travel documents are lost or stolen, you can still find a new set before arriving at your destination.
